This subseries contains, in subject and then chronological order: record inserts (statements made by Senator Mathias in the Congressional Record); reprints from the Congressional Record (these could be duplicates of the record inserts or a better copy); press releases; speeches, statements, and articles; National Journal and Congressional Quarterly articles, among others. Materials date from 1959 to 1988 with undated materials included. Most of the speeches, statements, articles, reprints and press releases are originals.
