Wolman was an advisor on the safe use of radiation serving on two committees for the Atomic Energy Commission. In 1957 the AEC established the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS). Wolman served on this committee from its inception until 1961. The records (1957-61) are largely correspondence, minutes, and reports on reactors.
