Wolman was an advisor on the safe use of radiation serving on two committees for the Atomic Energy Commission. In 1957 the AEC established the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS). Wolman served on this committee from its inception until 1961. The records (1957-61) are largely correspondence, minutes, and reports on reactors. Wolman also served on the AEC's Atomic Safety and Licensing Board from 1960 until 1972. The records for this work from 1963-77 are in this collection. There is also some background material dating from 1940 which has not been sorted.
