Scope and Contents note
Subseries 1: Administration includes files dealing with the administrative business of both the D.C. office and the Towson office. Much of the routine of both offices is described here. The files illustrate the necessity for careful management of both of Congressman Long's offices. The tracking of appointments, invitations, mailings, parking arrangements, office visitors, travel arrangements, staff memos and meetings, congratulatory messages, receipts, and travel information were part of the daily business of Long's staff.
