Jean Eichelberger Ivey (1923-2010) was a composer, pianist, electronic musician, professor, and the founder of the Peabody Conservatory Electronic Music Studio, which she directed from 1969 until her retirement from Peabody in 1997. The Jean Eichelberger Ivey papers contain scores and recordings of Ivey's musical works, writings and notes by Ivey, personal and professional correspondence, programs and clippings, photographs, and other personal and professional papers.

Abstract Judith Sylvia Gray (1942-2023) was a composer and painter based in Salisbury, Maryland, who earned a Master of Music degree in composition in 1969 from the Peabody Conservatory. The Judith Sylvia Gray music manuscripts, 1967-2022, contain unpublished scores of about 25 works composed by Gray from 1969 to 1994. Virginia C. Blackhead music manuscripts

Abstract

Virginia C. Blackhead (1882-1969) was the superintendent of the Peabody Preparatory from 1932 to 1944. Blackhead was also the director of the Baltimore and Ohio Women's Music Club from 1925 to 1940 and a musical advisor to the Peabody Junior Choir (later renamed the Phoenix Choir of Baltimore). The Virginia C. Blackhead music manuscripts (approximately 1905-1955) contain manuscript scores of songs for voice and piano composed by Blackhead.
