The Glenroy C. Stein papers contain scores and method books written by Stein and various other composers. Also included are personal papers which include newspaper clippings, correspondence, posters, and concert programs.

Hugh Raymond Newsom (1891-1978) was an organist and composer who lived in Baltimore. The collection includes manuscript scores of music composed by Hugh Newsom or by his wife, harpist Marjorie Brunton Newsom; documents related to Hugh Newsom's career; and reel-to-reel recordings of his music.

Jean Eichelberger Ivey (1923-2010) was a composer, pianist, electronic musician, professor, and the founder of the Peabody Conservatory Electronic Music Studio, which she directed from 1969 until her retirement from Peabody in 1997. The Jean Eichelberger Ivey papers contain scores and recordings of Ivey's musical works, writings and notes by Ivey, personal and professional correspondence, programs and clippings, photographs, and other personal and professional papers.

Joe Byrd (1933-2012) was a bassist and Peabody Conservatory alumnus who regularly played in jazz ensembles with his older brother, guitarist Charlie Byrd. The Joe Byrd papers contain professional files, music manuscripts, and sound recordings from his career, especially the last decade.

John Barry Talley was a graduate of Peabody Institute and Director of Musical Activities at the U.S. Naval Academy. His papers include clippings, concert programs, papers, and articles relating to his career.

John C. Vollbracht was a Baltimore-based piano teacher in the early 20th century. The collection contains concert programs from the performances of his pupils and personal banking notebooks.

John Charles Thomas was an internationally known baritone who attended Peabody Institute from 1909 to 1912. His papers include scores, personal and business papers, concert programs, clippings, correspondence, ephemera, photographs, and recordings.

Joseph Schillinger was a theorist and composer famous for developing the Schillinger System, a method of deconstructing music using geometric phase relationships. The collection contains correspondence, recordings, scrapbooks, photographs, artwork, manuscript scores, and other documents related to his professional and personal life.

Leslie Frick was a mezzo-soprano who performed in the United States and Europe from the 1920s to 1960s. Her papers include photographs, an obituary, and two scrapbooks.

The Lindsay Leach papers contain documents, programs, awards, and performance audio from Leach’s studies at the Peabody Conservatory in flute performance.

Mihály Virizlay (1931-2008) was a Hungarian-born cellist who had an international career as a concerto and recital soloist, was principal cello of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for 40 years, and taught at the Peabody Institute. The Mihály Virizlay papers contain published and manuscript musical scores, chiefly for cello, including Virizlay’s own compositions and arrangements. The collection also includes recordings, concert programs, newspaper clippings, and correspondence.

Mindy Rosenfeld is a flutist and a founding member of the Baltimore Consort, an ensemble that specializes in medieval, Renaissance, and baroque music. This collection contains concert programs from 2004 to 2006 of performances by Rosenfeld, including concerts by the Baltimore Consort and the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra.

The Oratorio Society of Baltimore was a musical ensemble from approximately 1882 to 1918. Its music directors and performers included many members of the Peabody Conservatory faculty, including Conservatory Directors Asger Hamerik and Harold Randolph. The Oratorio Society of Baltimore programs and other material, 1883-1913, contains an incomplete run of the society's concert programs, the 1884 president's report, an 1896 large-format photograph of the ensemble, and other ephemera.

Otto Ortmann was the director of Peabody Conservatory of Music from 1928 to 1941 and founder of the conservatory's department of research, where he conducted studies on the education, psychology, and physiology of music. His papers include scores of original compositions, writings on music research, research notes, administrative files, concert programs, photographs, and teaching materials.

Paul Vacek was a violinist, pianist, and composer (using the pen name Paul Vazkén) who studied at the Peabody Conservatory of Music from 1946 to 1949. His papers contain manuscript scores of his compositions and arrangements, drafts and fragments of manuscript scores, and personal papers.

The Peabody Institute Concert Office arranges public performance events, recitals, special events, and tours. Materials in this collection include production files and related documentation about concerts, recitals, tours (including the Peabody Symphony Orchestra tour of the Soviet Union in 1987), concert hall rentals, graduation exercises, and special events at the Peabody Institute.

VIBES is a monthly concert series run by students of the Peabody Computer Music Department. This collection contains recorded performances, photographs, programs, and posters associated with VIBES concerts during the organization's first two years of existence, 2018-2020.

Soprano Phyllis Bryn-Julson taught at the Peabody Institute from 1984 to 2017 and is known for her performances and recordings of 20th-century vocal music. The Phyllis Bryn-Julson papers contain programs, photographs, and other publicity materials from her singing career, correspondence with composers and other musicians, and scores of vocal music with Bryn-Julson's performance markings.

Reginald Stewart was a Scottish-born conductor and pianist who served as director of the Peabody Conservatory from 1941 to 1957 and music director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from 1942 to 1952. His papers include scrapbooks, correspondence, photographs, and recordings related to his career.
