Scope and Contents Papers consist largely of Edward Spencer's personal papers although there are some papers of his parents and of his grandson Gellert S. Alleman. Edward Spencer's papers relate to his literary career. The earliest papers are school notebooks from the Trinity School in Baltimore (1848-49) and Princeton University (1853-58). Abstract

Percy Stickney Grant (1860–1927) was an American priest of the Episcopal Church. Clyde Fitch (1865-1909) was an American dramatist, the most popular writer for the Broadway stage of his time (1890–1909). This collection consists of one item: Rev. Percy Stickney Grant's remarks at Fitch's funeral at New York City's Church of the Ascension in 1909.
