Agendas International collection of Nicaragua monitoring reports

Abstract

From 1983 until 1990, Agendas International, was a private public affairs company registered with the U.S. Department of Treasury and paid by the Government of Nicaragua. The items in the collection document press involvement in the investigation of the Iran-Contra Affair from 1983 to 1989.

George C. Keidel papers

George Charles Keidel (1868-1942) was associate professor of Romance Languages at Johns Hopkins University and was later a librarian at the Library of Congress. The collection spans the years 1899-1935 and consists largely of Prefessor Keidel's lectures and writings on romance paleography. Some material is in French.

Irene Aloha Wright, American writer and journalist, was born in 1879. She became a special writer for the Havana Post (1904 - 1905) and city editor of the Havana Daily Telegraph (1905 - 1907). The collection consists of correspondence (primarily in Spanish and addressed to the Havana Daily Telegraph) written during the August (1906) Revolution.
