Basil Lanneau Gildersleeve (October 23, 1831 – January 9, 1924), was an American classical scholar. C. (Charles) Morton Stewart (1829-1900) was a prominent businessman in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as President of the Board of Trustees at Johns Hopkins University.
