A.D. Emmart papers
A.D. Emmart was a journalist at The Baltimore Sun newspaper in Baltimore, Maryland from 1924 to 1972. Included in the collection is a scrapbook containing his editorial writings from 1927 to 1934, book reviews and art criticisms from 1928 to 1960, and many articles from his assignments in Russia from 1928 to 1933, and London in the 1940s.

Douglas Southall Freeman (1886 – 1953) was an American historian, biographer, newspaper editor, and author best known for his multi-volume biographies of Robert E. Lee and George Washington. The collection spans the years 1902-1911, and consists primarily of correspondence between Freeman and his parents.

Irene Aloha Wright collection of Cuban revolt letters
Irene Aloha Wright, American writer and journalist, was born in 1879. She became a special writer for the Havana Post (1904 - 1905) and city editor of the Havana Daily Telegraph (1905 - 1907). The collection consists of correspondence (primarily in Spanish and addressed to the Havana Daily Telegraph) written during the August (1906) Revolution.
Neil-Albert Grauer papers
The material in this collection relates to Grauer's work as a newspaper reporter, editorial cartoonist, and author. An allied collection of Grauer's cartoons done for the News-American are in the Neil Grauer political cartoon collection.
Tom Flannery cartoons collection
Thomas F. Flannery was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania in 1919. In 1957, he moved to Baltimore and became the first editorial cartoonist for The Evening Sun in 1957. Topics include: Baltimore and Maryland, sports and personages, national issues and world affairs in the late 1950s through the 1960s, including the Kennedy presidency, the war in Vietnam, and the Cold War.
