It is addressed to Milward Adams who was manager of the Chicago Auditorium at that time. Overview Edwin Litchfield Turnbull (1872-1927) was a musician who helped create both the Johns Hopkins University and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. The collection spans the years 1881-1971 and consists of approximately 400 letters, photographs, loose newspaper clippings, juvenile notebooks, and 13 scrapbooks of newspaper clippings relating to musical, social, or other events.

Roy McCoy photographs

Overview Roy McCoy (1920-2001) was a jazz trumpeter from Baltimore who performed with such ensembles as the house band of the Royal Theater and the Lionel Hampton Band in the late 1930s and 1940s. McCoy took many pictures of his friends and associates in the Baltimore musical scene. The McCoy photographs collection contains prints, negatives, and a photo album of musicians and associates, primarily from approximately 1935 to 1965.
