Adele Meade was a teacher and violinist in the Baltimore area. Her papers include photographs, a scrapbook, and personal papers primarily relating to her teaching career.
The collection contains manuscript letters and brief notes from Nadia Boulanger to her former student Charles Bleefield, including a letter of recommendation in 1947 and several brief greetings in the two decades that followed. Also included are invitations to two memorial services for Lili Boulanger and an Igor Stravinsky autograph.
Elsa Baklor was a coloratura soprano and music educator who taught at the Peabody Conservatory and privately in the mid-twentieth century. Her collection of five scrapbooks contain clippings, photographs, and concert programs related to her career as a performer and teacher.

Howard Thatcher was a pianist, organist, composer, and teacher in the Baltimore area. He was an alumnus of Peabody who taught harmony, counterpoint, orchestration, and composition for the Peabody Conservatory. The Howard R. Thatcher papers contain his manuscript and published scores as well as personal papers.
Lucille Tingle Masson (1901-1989) was a music teacher, organist, and choirmaster who earned degrees from the Johns Hopkins University and the Peabody Conservatory. The collection contains Masson's master's thesis, "The Musical Heritage of the Protestant Episcopal Church" (1954), and notes from her music theory classes at the Peabody Conservatory.
Richard Benda was a pianist and teacher of the Joseph Schillinger system of musical composition. The Richard Benda papers contain manuscript notebooks and transcriptions of his teaching material concerned with the Schillinger system. Also included are pedagogical materials in the form of notes, recordings, and an unpublished supplement to the Schillinger system.
