Abstract
The Theater Chamber Players, founded by Peabody Institute faculty members Dina Koston and Leon Fleisher, were a chamber music ensemble that featured 20th-century music and was based primarily in Washington, D.C., from 1968 to 2003. The TCP records include administrative and business documents, correspondence, working files, concert programs, publicity material, photographs, recordings, scores, and reference material.

Abstract
Theodor (Theodore) Hemberger was a German-born violinist, conductor, and composer who directed the Germania Männerchor and performed with H.L. Mencken in the Saturday Night Club. His wife, Emma Conrad Hemberger, was a singer and the composer of the anthem "Baltimore, Our Baltimore." The collection consists primarily of manuscript scores of Theodor's original works and arrangements for orchestra, voice, and chamber ensemble. Also included are manuscripts of Emma's music.

Born in czarist Russia, composer and pianist Vladimir Padwa immigrated to the United States in 1932 and was heard regularly in concert halls, on radio, and in recordings for RCA Victor. He co-founded the First Piano Quartet and taught at the New York College of Music. William A. Chrystal was a pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor based in the Pittsburgh area for most of his career. He attended the Peabody Conservatory in the 1950s and earned degrees in piano performance. The William A. William Rush Dunton, Jr., was an occupational therapist and psychiatrist who was an instructor for the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1903 to 1942. Yvette Matthews (1948-2020) was a mezzo-soprano from Baltimore. She studied at the Peabody Preparatory and sang with ensembles such as the Baltimore Opera Company, the Baltimore Symphony Opera, and the Baltimore Choral Arts Society.
