Overview
Erna Magnus was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1896, and was an author and educator in both Germany and the United States. The collection consists of two items: a typescript manuscript of Magnus's study, "Gainfully Employed Women in Chicago," (1943) and a travel diary written in German describing a trip to Germany, July 15-August 28, 1974.

Scope and Contents
The collection consists of three photostatic copies of the writings of Gregory King. The locations of the original manuscripts are described in the Provenance. Each photostatic copy is bound as a single volume. When the photostatic copies were acquired by the University, "Natural and Political Observations..." and "Naval Trade of England ..." were printed in their entirety under the title Two Tracts by Gregory King, edited by Jacob H. Abstract
Jacob Harry Hollander was born in Baltimore in 1871 and was appointed by Presidents McKinley and T. Roosevelt to represent the United States in economic policy abroad. The papers date from 1895-1940 and are largely Hollander's professional correspondence dealing with his teaching at Hopkins, his writings on economic theory, and his work in the areas of social welfare and economic reform.

Wyatt William Randall (1867-1930) was a noted chemist and faculty member at the school of Hygiene and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. The collection consists of 11 notebooks with manuscript notes compiled while Randall was a chemistry graduate student at Hopkins from 1886 to 1889.
