The Hopkins Symphony Orchestra (HSO) was established in its present form in 1981 by Peabody Conservatory graduate student Catherine Overhauser. This collection consists of promotional flyers and posters, concert programs, and audio recordings of performances by the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra spanning 1986 to 2014.
The Peabody Institute's ArtReach collection was created in April 2020 to help performing artists and arts-lovers weather the COVID-19 pandemic. In November 1921, a group of graduate students and faculty members of the Department of English organized the Homewood Playshop to supplement course work in drama and to present plays not likely to be seen on the professional stage.
