Abstract
John Calvin French was professor of English and librarian at The Johns Hopkins University and author of "A History of the University founded by Johns Hopkins." Abstract
Raymond Dexter Havens, educator and author, was born in Rochester, New York in 1880. In 1925, he joined The Johns Hopkins University faculty as Caroline Donovan Professor of English, a post he held until his retirement in 1949.
