Frank N. Pilling papers
Frank N. (Francis Nelson) Pilling was born in Baltimore, October 17, 1908. The papers consist largely of his personal writings, some in typescript and some in published form. Other items include correspondence, photographs, genealogical records, and documents and notes from his wartime service in London.

Henry James Young collection of English land documents
Collection of historian and professor of history, Henry J. Young, consists of sixteen manuscripts in Latin and English, 1383-1722. The manuscripts are legal documents dealing with the leases, rents, sale, and grants of land in England, a few in the counties of Devon and York.
John Ayers papers
John Ayers was born in 1738 at Uxbridge, Middlesex, England. The collection consists of a diary (1766-1793), four commonplace books (1761-1802), and four notebooks of poems (1769- 1788).
John Stuart Mill letters
Collection of English philosopher and economist, John Stuart Mill, consists of over 300 holographic letters written to him by noted economists, philosophers, theologians, and political figures of the nineteenth century. Drafts of Mill's replies are included along with 43 holographic letters written by Mill to Auguste Comte, 1841-1847. Most of the correspondence is published.
Samuel Oldknow business records
Samuel Oldknow was the first successful maker of British muslin in the 18th century. The records, dating from 1787 to 1811, consist of approximately 75 items which include correspondence, pay-tickets, receipts, ledgers, account and memorandum books, shop-notes, and documents.
