Abstract On August 24, 1867, Johns Hopkins incorporated the two institutions which bear his name: Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Hospital. The original members of the Boards of Trustees for the two institutions were named in the Certificate of Incorporation. The records of the Board of Trustees span the years 1867 through 2012, although, with the exception of the bound volumes of minutes, relatively little exists for the years prior to 1925. Keyser-Wyman family papers

The Keysers and Wymans were two of Baltimore's leading civic-minded and philanthropic families during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The papers consist of diaries, memoirs, correspondence, genealogical information, newspaper clippings, maps, and photographs ranging in date from 1800 to 1968.

Larzer Ziff papers

Professor Larzer Ziff became the Caroline Donovan Professor of English at Johns Hopkins University in 1981. He served as chair of the Department of English from 1991 to 1995. Abstract Edward "Ted" Athelstan Marshall was born Edward Howard Marshall on May 8, 1920 in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended Johns Hopkins University from 1939 to 1943, where he majored in English Literature. Upon commencement, Marshall joined the U.S. Army infantry the same year. He was killed in combat in Europe on November 10, 1944. Tudor and Stuart Club records

Abstract The formation of the Tudor and Stuart Club was initiated by Sir William Osler and his wife, Lady Grace Osler. Their intention to provide an endowment for these activities was expressed in a letter to Johns Hopkins University President Frank J. Goodnow, dated October 30, 1918.
