Overview Charles Branch Wilson (1861–1941) was an American scientist, a marine biologist. He is known for his extensive work on copepods, minute crustaceans. The collection consists of sixteen notebooks compiled while Wilson was a graduate student at Johns Hopkins, 1894-1896. The notebooks contain lecture notes and laboratory drawings from classes in biology, botany, and physiology.

Overview Frederick B. Noyes was born in 1872. He attended Johns Hopkins University and received his B.A in 1893. This collection consists of classroom notes written by Noyes while he was an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University during the years 1891 to 1893.
