Dr. Carrie May Zintl was a Classicist, who after extensive study in Rome, Vienna, Leipzig and Munich, received her doctorate from Hopkins in 1929. She was daughter of Professor William Kurrelmeyer, an expert in German culture and a Bible scholar at Johns Hopkins University.
