Merryman-Crane family papers
The Merryman-Crane family papers document the nineteenth century life of two allied families, one centered in Richmond, Virginia, and the other in Baltimore County, Maryland. The Merryman family papers consist of land deeds, legal documents, and correspondence spanning 1742-1908 The Crane Family papers consist of correspondence, poetry, prose, and financial documents. The material spans 1821-1908 but mainly dates from 1850-1890.
Minnie Gresham Machen notebook
Minnie Gresham Machen (1849-1931) was a writer of religious literature in Baltimore, MD. The collection consists of a volume with entries dated 1874-1904 with relatively few entries. The writings in the notebook deal largely with religious subjects, but there are references to the poet, Sidney Lanier.
Moncure-Lyne Family scrapbooks
The collection (1897-1943) consists of three scrapbooks, the subjects of which are the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln and Edgar Allan Poe. The scrapbooks were compiled by Miss Cassandra Moncure Lyne (born 1875) in collaboration with her mother, Mrs. Cassandra Moncure Lyne (1845-1934).
Robert Balk papers
The papers of geologist, Robert Balk, include research files, photographs, writings, correspondence, and approximately 50 field notebooks. The materials date from 1922 to 1956.

Sally Harrison Dieke papers
The collection of astronomer, chemist, and environmental activist, Sally H. Dieke, consists largely of papers from her teaching career and her work with local environmental groups, which range in date from 1886 to 1989.
Sarah L. Hawkes autograph album
Sarah L. Hawkes (1844-1899) was the daughter of Winslow and Lydia McLellan Hawkes and the grand-daughter of General James McLellan (1777-1854), a prominent Bath, Maine merchant and shipbuilder. The collection consists of a Civil War period autograph album with autographs that span 1860 to 1877.
Spelman Family papers
The collection consists primarily of writings with additional family papers, photographs, and correspondence. The materials range in date from 1726 to 1972. The content is mostly related to the lives of Leolyn Louise Everett Spelman and Timothy Mather Spelman.
Thomas Gresham Machen papers
Thomas Gresham Machen (born 1886) was an architect and book collector. The collection consists of clippings of Baltimore newspapers from 1859, correspondence from 1909 and 1945 relating to rare books, and an undated biographical sketch of Maryland colonial settler, Margaret Brent.
Victoria Lincoln papers
Victoria Lincoln was an American writer of fiction and journalistic articles born in 1904. The papers consist largely of drafts of her many articles, stories, poems, and novels. The collection spans 1833-1986, with the bulk of the material from 1925-1985.
