Charles Mason Remey papers
Charles Mason Remey was an architect, author, and a religious leader of the Baha'i faith. He was born in Burlington, Iowa, May 15, 1874. The collection consists of 154 bound volumes, spanning 1836-1940. In the volumes are personal reminiscences, clippings, photographs, memorabilia, biographical accounts of Mason and Remey family members, and a historical record of the Baha'i faith.
Helen H. Tanzer collection
This collection relates to the donation of Margaret B. Wilson’s personal library after her death in 1945. Helen H. Tanzer was the executor of Wilson’s will. The materials consist of Tanzer’s correspondence, book checklists, shipping receipts for the books, income tax information, and a news clipping.
Roger Brooke Taney letters
Roger Brooke Taney (1777-1864) was the fifth Chief Justice of the United States. Collection consists largely of letters (1838-1856, 58 items) written by Taney to his son-in-law lawyer James Mason Campbell (1810-1869).
