Elizabeth Daum diary
This collection consists of the diary of Elizabeth Daum, which provides an account of Miss Daum's trip to Europe by ocean liner, July to October, 1926. Elizabeth Daum resided in Scranton, PA in 1926. Her travel diary indicates she was an unmarried, young adult who made a trans-Atlantic crossing to Europe in 1926. Other biographical information of Miss Daum has not been found.
Ellicott-King family papers
The Ellicott-King papers (1804-1837) which form this collection consist of a notebook (1804-1826) of Eliza Ellicott, a notebook (1819-1851) of Tacy E. (Ellicott) King, and an autograph album (1835- 1837) of Thomas King. The Ellicott family of Howard County, Maryland settled in Maryland in 1772 on the Patapsco River about 10 miles west of Baltimore, where Ellicott City now stands.
Flahavan & Willcox letterbook
Flahavan & Willcox was a Philadelphia firm established for the import/export trade in 1784. The collection consists of one holographic letterbook of the company containing letters over the period April 14, 1784 to November 16, 1792.
George Bullock indenture regarding estate

James D. McCabe papers
James D. McCabe, Jr. (1842-1883) was a popular writer of more than 30 works including histories, biographies, and plays. The collection consists of letterbooks, unpublished manuscripts, and photographs dating from 1862 to 1881.
John Thomas Scharf papers
John Thomas Scharf (1843–1898) was a United States historian and author. The collection consists of his original documents as well as those of other historians, including Henry B. Dawson and Thompson Westcott. The materials span in date from 1750-1947.
Mary Ann Cowan herbarium
This item is a large format herbarium book, compiled by Mary Ann Cowan. It contains forty pages with eighty-eight specimens, each identified with a botanical and common name. The item was created in 1835 and further inscribed in 1911.
Merchants collection
The manuscripts in this artificial collection are largely the records of Philadelphia merchants dealing with Baltimoreans in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
Moncure-Lyne Family scrapbooks
The collection (1897-1943) consists of three scrapbooks, the subjects of which are the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln and Edgar Allan Poe. The scrapbooks were compiled by Miss Cassandra Moncure Lyne (born 1875) in collaboration with her mother, Mrs. Cassandra Moncure Lyne (1845-1934).
