Scope and Contents

Video recordings and images of Peabody Conservatory students, faculty, and alumni performing from home during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The collection includes a video recording of the Peabody Symphony Orchestra performing in the Peabody campus cafeteria the evening before all in-person classes were canceled in March 2020. Other performers include Marina Piccinini, Amit Peled, Julien Xuereb, Benjamin Loeb, and Daniel Vnukowski. Also included is season 1 of the web series "Cooking with Denyce" by singer Denyce Graves.

The Peabody Institute's ArtReach collection was created in April 2020 to help performing artists and arts-lovers weather the COVID-19 pandemic. The Peabody community of students, staff, faculty, and alumni shared video recordings of performances from their homes to express their experiences and provide comfort during a challenging time. The collection contains video recordings and images of Peabody Conservatory students, faculty, and alumni performing from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The collection includes a video recording of the Peabody Symphony Orchestra performing in the Peabody campus cafeteria the evening before all in-person classes were canceled in March 2020.
