Scope and Contents
The Peabody Institute programs collection, 1868-2021, contains concert and recital programs of students, ensembles, faculty, guest artists, and master classes from the Conservatory and Preparatory. The bulk of the programs after approximately 1970 are of Conservatory degree recitals and ensemble concerts.

Most materials were transferred by the Peabody Institute Concert Office or the Peabody Marketing and Communications Office (formerly the Public Relations Office or Public Information Office).

Materials Specific Details
Some programs from 2008-2019 are available both in print and electronically.
Processed by multiple staff members of the Peabody Archives from 1980 to 2020. During reprocessing by Matt Testa in 2017-2019, draft programs and excess copies of final programs were destroyed. Some production files from the Concert Office records, 1970-2003, containing programs for specific events were integrated into this collection.
