Scope and Contents
This collection contains materials created or collected by the Peabody Institute Concert Office from 1973 to 2003, with the bulk of the materials dating from 1973 to 1988. Materials include production files and related documentation about concerts, recitals, tours (including the Peabody Symphony Orchestra tour of the Soviet Union in 1987), concert hall rentals, graduation exercises, and special events at the Peabody Institute. Some files contain signed release forms from guest artists who agreed to be recorded. Administrative files include correspondence from Peabody Conservatory senior administration and planning documents about recital requirements.
