Biographical / Historical

Christopher Lobingier (1944-2014) was a composer based in Baltimore who also worked as an audiovisual specialist for the Peabody Institute's Arthur Friedheim Library for 35 years. He composed the original score to the 1977 John Waters film Desperate Living and works for solo instruments and chamber ensembles. He was active in the leadership of the Baltimore Composers Forum, an organization that supports local composers by presenting concerts of their original works.

Due to the disorderly state of the materials upon accession, scores had to be gathered into folders for ease of use.
