The manuscripts in this artificial collection are largely the records of Philadelphia merchants dealing with Baltimoreans in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. The items are drafts, invoices, and letters from individuals in Baltimore to Philadelphia merchants especially Andrew Clow & Co. and Dutilh & Wachsmuth.
