An fundraising letter circa 2000 written by Alice Walker for the Berkeley Public Library Foundation’s “We Love the Library” campaign. The letter is typed and signed in facsimile, by Alice Walker (as issued by Berkeley Public Library Foundation). The text includes eight paragraphs in which Walker provides update and solicits donations for the campaign to fund the expansion and renovation of the Central Library branch. Walker served as Co-Chair of the campaign.
