Biographical / Historical

This creator is associated with a legacy collection for which there is very little known about him. Therefore he can't be disambiguated from other Robert Goulds. It is possible that he is related to Joan S. Gould, who separately donated a collection of sheet music that bears her name (MS.MUS.019); documentation on Robert Gould's collection appears in the same file as Joan Gould's donation. However, this speculation cannot be confirmed.
