Biographical / Historical

Frank R. Shivers of Baltimore, Maryland was an environmental preservationist and was the author of many regional histories of Baltimore. Beginning in 1949 Shivers taught history, writing and literature at a variety of institutions, including the University of Cincinnati, Johns Hopkins University, Towson University, and the Friends School of Baltimore.
