German autograph album
Scope and Contents
This collections consists of one leather bound volume with the word "Album" embossed on the front cover. It contains nine notes and autographs; six in German, three in English. The entries range in date from 1862-1863 to 1880. Towards the back of the book a rough pencil cartoon of a man and woman was included but not signed. The owner of the album is unidentified.

Provenance
Tom Cook of the Political Science Department transferred the volume to the Special Collections Department in 1966. A note from Cook suggests that the entries in German may have some connection with German nobility.
