This collection contains 33 printed cartoons that were published in The Evening Sun editions of The Baltimore Sun in 1917 and 1918 and one photograph of Feldman from circa 1966. This collection does not include original art work.

Biographical / Historical
Samson Feldman (circa 1901-1983) was a graduate of Baltimore City College, Maryland Institute of Art, and Pennsylvania Academy of Art. He began submitting political cartoons to The Baltimore Sun after graduating from Baltimore City College. Later in life he became a collector of Americana antiques. He died on April 16, 1983.

Abstract
Samson Feldman (circa 1901-1983) began submitting political cartoons to The Baltimore Sun after graduating from Baltimore City College. This collection contains 33 printed cartoons that were published in The Evening Sun editions of The Baltimore Sun from 1917 to 1918. The collection also includes one photograph of Feldman from circa 1966. This collection does not include original art work.

This collection was donated by Rossetta A. and Sadie B. Feldman in 1985.
