Biographical Note
J. Louis Kuethe served as assistant librarian at Johns Hopkins University for 43 years. He was born in Baltimore in 1905 and received the B.A. from Hopkins in 1927. He taught courses in bibliography and reference work, and often contribued articles to Baltimore newspapers.
