Scope and Contents
Collection consists of one letter of the Austrian Queen, Eleonora, sent from Vienna to Cardinal Capisucco in Rome, December 23, 1682. It is a vellum manuscript, written in Latin and contains the royal seal. In the letter Queen Eleonora sent a message of welcome to Cardinal Capisucco.

Biographical Note
Eleonora of Platinate-Neuburg (1655-1720) was the third wife of Leopold 1 (1640-1705), king of Austria, Hungary, Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor (1658-1705). Queen Eleonora was the mother of the future emperors Joseph I and Charles the IV.
