Isaacs was a professor of applied mathematics, 1967-1977, at the Johns Hopkins University. In 1963, Isaacs published Differential Games, and was awarded the Lanchester Prize in 1965. He addressed many national and international meetings for mathematicians, and was the author of many papers on pure and applied mathematics.
