The collection consists of one holographic notebook (1836-1841) of Baltimore clergymen, George C.M. Roberts. In the notebook are copies of letters written in support of his appointment as chaplain to the U.S. Army troops stationed at Fort McHenry, MD.

Biographical Note
George C.M. Roberts (1806-1870) was a Baltimore clergyman. He was an elder in the Methodist church and the author of "Centernary Pictorial Album, Being Contributions of the Early History of Methodism in the State of Maryland" (1866).
