Scope and Contents

Colletion consists of one holographic notebook containing an incomplete account of the Trial of Solomon T. Wilson for the murder of John P. Bradshaw in 1885. After many delays, the trial began in the Circuit Court, Talbot County Maryland on July 21, 1858. William P. Peterson was attorney for the defense. Events that caused the trial to be postponed over a three-year period are described, but the proceedings and final verdict are not recorded.
