This artificially assembled collection contains trade cards produced by a variety of creators during the late 19th century, mostly in the 1890s, advertising pharmaceutical products for health and beauty applications. Some include ingredients that are now controlled substances, such as opium and cocaine. See file description for more information on individual cards.
