This item is a commonplace book with original writing by Edward Cruse, including riddles, conundrums, acrostics, rebus, and charades. A book of 123 numbered pages with a profusion of manuscript word puzzles of all sorts. It includes double and triple acrostic puzzles, charades and numbered charades, logographs, impromptu, triangular puzzles, rebuses, rhyming word puzzles, translocations, anagrams and much more. Measures 8" x 6 1/2". The item was written in Brighton, United Kingdom in 1867.
