Biographical / Historical

The Vector was an engineering magazine published quarterly by undergraduates. It began in 1948 and grew rapidly; by the late 1950s, it was considered one of the foremost undergraduate engineering magazines in the country. Published with the support of the faculty of the School of Engineering, Vector contained mostly articles, news, advertisements and information about engineering at Hopkins. It also carried some articles of general interest and light humor. The journal declined in the late 1960s and finally ceased publication in December 1969.
