Robert Frost poems, undated
Scope and Contents note
This file includes three poems handwritten by Robert Frost, titled "On a Birds' Singing in Its Sleep," "A Speck," and "First Biplane." While the second poem is clearly titled "A Speck" in Frosts' hand, the full title of the poem, as it was published in the 1942 Pulitzer Prize winning "A Witness Tree," is "A Considerable Speck." Similarly, the poem enclosed here is titled "First Biplane" in Frost's hand, but is commonly printed under the title "Wright's Biplane."
