Scope and Contents
The collection consists primarily of writings on various aspects of cotton production dating from 1921-1946. It also includes two catalogs from cotton seed suppliers, and a newspaper article on cotton production. The writings cover a variety of cotton topics, including an analysis of Egyptian cotton, a discussion of the role of cotton in the development of slavery in South Carolina, and the commercial use of long staple cotton.
