Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The collection spans the years 1900-1938 and is formed by items with some references to theatrical and artistic events of the period. Included are three theatrical bills, an illustrated manuscript of a poem, and a bulletin (January 1938) of the National League of American Pen Women. Two of the programs are from events held in Baltimore: a travel talk by E. M. Newman (Edward Manuel Newman, 1870-1953) during the season, 1916-1917, and a performance by the Vagabond Players (undated). A program autographed by the actor, John Drew (1853-1927) from his performance in "Richard Carvel" is also included.
