Scope and Contents
A single folded sheet of red, white, and blue newsprint forming a promotional program or flyer for San Francisco's 1974 Gay Freedom Celebration. The cover includes bicentennial imagery including Archibald Willard's "Spirit of '76," and reads “1974 Gay Freedom Celebration. Gay Freedom by ‘76.” The program contains a calendar of the week's events, a poster for the parade, and a “Directory of Western Gay Organizations.” The program measures 37 x 58 cm when unfolded.
