Copied from dealer description: Ralph R. Lawrence was an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Harvard
University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a member of the
American Institute of Electrical Engineers. His book, Principles of Alternating Current
Machinery, was first published in 1916 in New York by the McGraw-Hill Book
Company. The present volume appears to be an early revision of a portion of the fust
edition corrected by Jacob Young, who was likely...
