Abstract

Video-recorded oral history interviews (and accompanying transcripts) with Bob and Frank Cicero, who ran Globe Poster Printing Corporation from the 1970s until its closure in the late 2000s. The interviews were recorded by Emily Hikes, Globe Archivist, in Summer 2016.

Abstract

The Johns Hopkins University Vietnam War ephemera collection, 1960 to 1970, is an artificially assembled collection with manuscript material chosen by the curators of Special Collections. The collection contains posters, leaflets, handbills, and curricula materials created during the Vietnam War. Scope and Contents Two photo albums belonging to US infantryman Robert E. Wright. The album covers are printed with "Memory of South Viet-Nam." Abstract

Thomas F. Flannery was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania in 1919. In 1957, he moved to Baltimore and became the first editorial cartoonist for The Evening Sun in 1957. Topics include: Baltimore and Maryland, sports and personages, national issues and world affairs in the late 1950s through the 1960s, including the Kennedy presidency, the war in Vietnam, and the Cold War.
