A collection of almost 260 letters and documents dating 1861-1864, written by various officers of the Confederate States Government and the Confederate Navy.
Frank N. Pilling papers
Frank N. (Francis Nelson) Pilling was born in Baltimore, October 17, 1908. The papers consist largely of his personal writings, some in typescript and some in published form. Other items include correspondence, photographs, genealogical records, and documents and notes from his wartime service in London.
Franz Halder collection
The collection consists of two copies of an unpublished manuscript entitled "Hitler and the German Soldier," one in typescript and one carbon copy, circa 1932-1945. Both volumes are illustrated with hand-drawn maps.
