Nelson, John M. Bills, 1964
Scope and Contents
Correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, financial and legal documents, brochures, and clippings. Correspondence with The Maryland Historical Society documenting the abortive attempt to establish a relationship between the trustees of the two institutions. The records of the Treasurer were created and maintained primarily by Enoch Pratt (1808-1896), founder of Baltimore's Enoch Pratt Free Library, who served in that post from 1861 until his death in 1896.
