Series 2: Published and Manuscript Scores
Scope and Contents
The Austin Conradi papers, 1913-1971, contain a variety of material created and collected by Conradi during his career. These include concert programs, school essays, newspaper clippings, and a photograph. The bulk of Series 1 consists of correspondence primarily between Conradi and his former student Elizabeth Burnham, as well as letters from Conradi to his mother. Series 2 contains manuscript and published scores, transcriptions, and orchestrations, including a transcription by Austin's older brother, Luther Conradi, of J.S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor.
